Sweet Potato Chips

A great side with burgers or on its own with aioli

Prep time – 10 minutes

Cook time – 35 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 large sweet potatoes, no need to peel
  • ½ cup cooking oil
  • salt & paprika, to taste
  • ½ cup aioli, for dipping

Cooking Steps

Preheat the oven to 200°c, 390°f.

Cut sweet potatoes into chips, no need to peel.

Spread chips evenly on two large baking trays.

Toss chips in oil and sprinkle with salt & paprika, toss again.

Place in the oven and cook for about 35 to 40 minutes.

Check and toss halfway through the cooking process. 

Serve with a generous dollop of aioli.
