Ingredients
- 1kg turkey mince
- ½ cup rolled oats
- 1 pack French onion soup mix (GF option-see below)
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil, for frying burger patties
- 1 cup spinach
- 2 tomatoes, sliced
- 2 avocadoes, sliced
- 8 slices of cheese (your choice)
- 8 slices of bacon (optional)
- 8 buns (GF option)
Extra toppings
- Aioli
- Relish
Cooking Steps

I a large mixing bowl, combine turkey mince, rolled oats and French onion soup mix (or GF option).
I like to use a plastic catering glove to mix mince thoroughly with my hand and to form patties.

Use mince mix to form 8 burger patties.

Gently fry turkey burgers in oil for about 3 minutes on each side until cooked.

Serve patties on a hamburger bun (your choice), with baby spinach leaves, sliced tomato , aioli (GF option), caramelised onion relish, sliced avocado, grated cheese and bacon (optional).
For Gluten free option use GF buns, GF aioli and caramelised onion relish (click for recipe ). Replace French Onion soup mix with 2 tablespoons GF powdered chicken stock.
